You will find Kavalari in a central neighbourhood in Fira, the first town of Santorini. It is a small hotel which used to be the house of a captain. This private property was turned into a 19 room hotel over a fifteen year time, everything built directly onto the cliff. It is a great sample of traditional Santorininan architecture, and has exteriors stairways which lead down to the cliff to various flowered terraces, a stunning design created only for our guests. The rooms all have access to a terrace where you will be able to relax and delight yourself with the quietness of the setting and the stunning sunsets. Each room is different from the other, and reminds of a small cave, while its facilities include a private bath, a hair dryer, air-conditioning, a direct dial telephone, cable TV, and a mini fridge. Our deluxe rooms are similar with the addition of a kitchenette. Our hotel is located in a strategic area, close to nightlife, the restaurants, shopping areas, museums and galleries, as well as next to the banks and post office. The taxi and bus stations are nearby as well. The Kavalari is the place for the customer looking for something original, yet charming, beautiful, well decorated and with warmth and character. |
