Having spent many years creating and recreating these homes, Skarpathiotis family has put all the passion and knowledge for this magic island in their unique design. First class amenities and traditional decoration of each one provide guests with superior quality and convenience. Lithies homes are also made flexible, so as to suit both couples and families. For larger parties there are multiple homes available for rent, where they can enjoy their Santorini holidays in exclusive privacy!
Nestled in the scenic village of Firostefani, at 1400 ft above sea level, the Lithiés homes are spacious grottos traditionally designed. Skarpathiotis Family, the owners, have preserved the unique local architecture of Santorini with their barrel-vaulted ceilings, white stucco walls, wrought-iron beds and country walnut sofas. The stylish result, along with first class amenities provide guests with ample convenience. Bordering the edge of a blue-tiled swimming pool, the wide terrace connects all three homes, offering also breathtaking views of the caldera and the volcano. Each home can host up to six persons, but larger parties may rent multiple homes, in order to enjoy exclusive privacy.
Anita Skarpathiotis, who is an art historian, was in charge of the homes’ traditional decoration. Each home includes one double bed, while the two sofa beds allow guests to adjust the room according their needs. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as marble bath with Jacuzzi. Free high speed, wireless internet is available, laundry facilities and patio with table and chairs. Hand-woven draperies, stripped cotton comforters and soft throw pillows give the feel of being home, while beautiful artwork by local artists add to the cozy and intimate setting.
• Zephyr
The largest of the three homes, Zephyr, has one bedroom with a double bed, spacious closet and a private all-marble bath with Jacuzzi. There is also a living room with two sofa beds, a large dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast area. The house has a laundry unit as well, and a second bath including a toilet, sink and standing shower. Specially designed draped windows and doors provide guests with more privacy in the bedroom. Room capacity is for up to six guests. • Iris
The middle home, Iris, has one bedroom with a double bed and ample closet space. A living room with two sofa beds, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, as well. Apart from the marble bath with Jacuzzi, it also has a second bath with a toilet, sink, and standing shower. Specially designed draped windows and doors provide guests with more privacy. It can host up to six guests. • Eros
The smallest but most picturesque home is named after Eros, the god of Love. Its special charm is due to the distinctive features of Greek local wedding motifs, incorporated so that it may be transformed into a honeymoon suite. It has one bedroom with a double bed and closet space, one all-marble bath with Jacuzzi, a living room with one sofa bed and a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Carefully designed draped windows and doors provide guests with more privacy. It can accommodate up to six persons. |
