At the first contact with the the shining sea, the sunset behind the stunning Caldera, the mysteriously beautiful island of Santorini had cast a spell on the young German writer Nina Keller. A vision came to her: share her sight of this great beauty and light, to stay there on his island of mystery and energy, enjoying the sunrises of red colour, the moonlight on the shimmering dark waters, the peace of the cliffs and the little villages nestling into them. Nina decided to shoe to the always busy and stressed people from the modern world a way of spending holidays immerged in beauty, and to help them see her own vision of this incredible place. The images of the Aegean beauty seen by great writers like Elytis, Durrell, Katzanzakis, the Atlantis myth some connect with Santorini, her half-moon shape of 3500 years… The Oia Village Complex was born a few years ago and has now reached perfection. It is a place of beauty and light, a hospitable jewel for the romantic, the dreamers, and the once who love. The complex is of 23 houses, most of them authentic cave houses carved into the cliffs, in the same way the people from the island were doing for centuries. All those cave villas have been renewed, providing today’s comforts, while keeping there mysterious vibe. Each villa has its own style, and responds perfectly to the meaning of the word tasteful. The Oia Village Hotel is shaped like an amphitheatre on a spacious bend of the caldera, facing the sea, the volcanic islets and the cliffs. The red sunset tainted its white walls in different shades every evening. |
