Beautiful but so expensive!

I am Irish and I am 42 years old.

The flight to Santorini Island fabulous and trouble free. I enjoyed the views while landing on the island.
I went to Santorini for a few days and then had to take the ferry to Mykonos. I have been many times to Mykonos and wanted to see Santorini. I heard much about it but had no idea about it apart form some photos. I weas pleaseantly surprised. Santorini is really beautiful. I would have call the island the diva of the Aegean. But it is very expensive! I am afraid it will kill "itself" soon. The goal of an island isn't to attract tourist back. I mean, the best is that tourists comes again and again, no? Personally, I won't go back there. In Mykonos, you can find affordable prices.
The favourite thing about Santorini (and also all the islands of Greece) is the weather and the beaches. Santorini views really impressed me and I really enjoyed the walks in the different villages. The local people are also very kind.
Negative opinion: Expensive. I live in London and Santorini has London prices.
Recommendations: If you want to save money and still enjoy the island 1. Do not go to a hotel on the caldera. There are many other hotels on Santorini with lower prices. 2. Find restaurants that do not have Caldera view. You pay more for the view than for the quality of the food
