Incredible but disapointed by polution

I arrived on Santorini by plane and the trip was fine.
It is not the first time I went to Santorini. I go there approximately every 3 years. I loved the island. I have a stressfull life and this island manages to relax me. Santorini is an island with extraordinary landscapes, interesting beaches, charming villages, pretty small hotels and a nice night life. The hotels are something unique. There are very small, very luxurious with incredible designs which combine the traditional and the post modern and all offer great views over the volcano and the sea.
The island mets my expacattions every time but I must say that I am a bit disapointed about the polution and the general way of thinking of the island. Santorini was voted one of the top holiday destinations in the world! And you can see plastic bags behind the streets and cigarets in the sand. It is a shame and things are not improving much.
Santorini is an ideal place for tourists. But you need some extra money in your pocket.
