The trip: I went to Santorini by boat. It was confortable and not over crowded but the trip was a bit long.
Reasons for going to Santorini: I heard a lot about the island and its black beaches and really wanted to see it. Heard that it had the most beautiful sunset in the world and some of the most amazing views.
Idea before arriving: I thought that I would really be impressed by the places, the beauty of the villages, the landscapes and the submerged volcano.
Expectations and opinions: It did met my expactations. It is really an amazing island. I really enjoyed my stay there but it has no vegetation. I think that it would be a fantastic island if it was more green.
It is really a beautiful island. The most amazing things are the rocky landscapes and the incredible views from the villages. The villages are also very charming. They have the authentic Cycladic architecture with white and blue colours, paved streets, many steps, many flowers and incredible churches.
Favorite thing about Santorini: The views and the sunset while dinning in one of those great restaurants or from my hotel's veranda. The hotels of Santorini are really beautiful. Small but very luxurious.
I also enjoyed the beaches much. Never saw a black beach in my life.
Negative opinion: There is nothing negative about the island I could think of except from some waste in the road sides.
Recommendations: No recommendations. Just go!

I would love to go back to Santorini. Next time I will also go to other islands.
